Engineered Fire Systems (EFS) is a well-established leader in fire sprinkler system design, with over 40 years of experience in the industry. Over the decades, they’ve expanded their expertise to include fire alarm systems, fire safety education and training, exterior fire protection, IoT solutions, and more. However, their website had become outdated and was struggling to perform in search rankings. With plans to expand their global reach, EFS brought me on to redesign their website with a modern, user-friendly interface and to improve their digital presence through enhanced SEO strategy.
To help Engineered Fire Systems modernize their digital presence and support their global expansion goals, I led a full redesign and optimization of their website. My work focused on both user experience and technical performance.
I rebuilt the site from the ground up using a modern tech stack, giving it a clean, responsive design that reflects EFS’s professionalism and industry expertise. The new layout improved navigation, readability, and overall usability across devices.
I conducted a comprehensive SEO audit to identify technical issues, content gaps, and keyword opportunities. I then implemented on-page SEO best practices by optimizing metadata, improving site structure, and rewriting content to target relevant keywords, resulting in improved search engine visibility.
I built a suite of tools that improved both internal workflows and customer engagement. This included a design cost estimator to help prospective clients get rough quotes before reaching out, boosting trust and conversion rates.
I optimized asset optimization, lazy loading, reduced unnecessary scripts, and improved Core Web Vitals to ensure fast load times and a smooth browsing experience.
